DELIVERABLES

Industry Competence Assessment Scheme aims to provide local electronics SMEs effective methodologies in identifying the most critical elements and gaps for ensuring product quality for the future supply to finished smart medical and healthcare device manufacturers, as well as identifying the effective upgrading approach for their current operational processes.

5 Training workshops have been conducted to enable the local SMEs to get hands-on experience to implement the requirements in a Quality Management System (QMS) for future component development with applications on smart medical and healthcare, as well as understanding the good use of Guidebook.

3 Local half-day seminars have been organized to invite international and local speakers to offer training to local industry stakeholders for awareness enhancement. The seminars aim at introducing and elaborating the essential requirements for components development for future applications in smart medical and healthcare devices, such that ensuring the overall safety and effectiveness of the smart medical and healthcare devices.

To present the common findings and consolidated recommendation during the Industry Competence Assessment Scheme, as well as the knowledge gained from the seminars in a systematic approach and maximize the number of local SMEs to be benefited after the project period, an Industry-Specific Guidebook has been published to disseminate the knowledge and experience gained from these deliverables.
